Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuum s and mops I test had superior navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combination with bleeding-edge features, look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This model of the highest quality is fast and nimble and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your home, as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another noteworthy characteristic of the S8 is its ability to adjust its cleaning mode according to dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will pause and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it comes across dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas for mopping with a damp pad.
The mop roller has many other smart features, such as docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to control the cleaning mode of your room and provide granular control using only your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's one of the combination robot vacuums that have mopping capabilities that are priced lower than the competition.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This involves setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few tries before it gets an accurate picture of your living space. In addition the detection of objects can be unpredictable and it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to flip its back to release itself. These are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. The vacuum stick that can be detached is a game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums can't.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you modify the settings of your choice that include scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each task to clean their pads, empty the dust bins, and place the debris into the self-sealing bag. This helps keep the system clean, and stops allergens from circulating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more expensive robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for the price. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets and a great obstacles-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping technique that utilizes a roller continuously misting with water to capture dirt and then deposit it into the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding steps. It struggled with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise level is also high, so this model might not be as simple to set and forget as the other models.
Like many robotic vacuums and mops the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that allows you to replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on regular schedules. You can control all its functions using the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers on the market. It delivers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, and even customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is designed to stop hair from wrapping itself around it. This is an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors that raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The all-in-one docking station serves as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops and refilling them with water and detergent. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for seven weeks of hassle-free operation unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they need to be empty.
6. S10
This robot is a few hundred dollars less than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office tidy. It is also able to reach into the corners of my small apartment. It utilizes a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D map of your home so that it knows what to avoid. In addition, unlike other vacuums that can mop it also has detection of objects and obstructions that avoids things like dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing, adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and set custom the settings for each room of your home.
Like the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood rugs with high-pile. If you're looking to save time, it can skip mopping in rooms that aren't soiled. If you have several types of flooring in your house and don't want to invest extra money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option when you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a dock that can be used for refilling water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. However, it isn't able to remove tangled rug tassels and its battery drains slightly quicker than other models we tested in our tests.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning modes, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet mode' for light debris to the incredibly powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It is very quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces well. It is also very good at removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its rivals however it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power, and it is able to take a photo of each object it finds (i.e. chew toys, or socks) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they won't be removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bot's bottom, and it basically drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
